Kathy O’Connor was born in San Luis Obispo County, and has raised four children here. While attending college, she did an extensive loan training program through Bank of America where she began working in the banking industry. After working for Bank of America for several years she started her own small business here in San Luis and ran it successfully for over ten years. After taking time off to raise her children she decided to renew her Real Estate License and began working as an Agent at Triad. She is currently a member of the California, National, and San Luis Obispo Association of Realtors. In her free time Kathy enjoys attending her children sporting events and taking advantage of the diverse outdoor opportunities that can be found on the Central Coast, such as hiking, bike riding and swimming. Kathy has always been actively involved in the San Luis community. She was the head of fundraising for the Annual Christmas Classic Basketball Tournament at Mission College Preparatory Catholic High School for several years. At the same time she was a board member of the One Dream Foundation and continued the fundraising activities there. She is currently the dinner / auction coordinator for the MCP High School Royal Dinner and auction as well as the Staff Appreciation Coordinator. Kathy is also a board member for Along Comes Hope, a non profit foundation that raises money for kids fighting cancer.
